Lion Financial Group was found in 2015. Its subsidiaries then acquired licenses in securities, futures, asset management, insurance and other financial services. In March 2020, Lion Group Holdings and PAAC (Nasdaq-listed company) announced that they had reached a final business combination agreement in the SPAC (special purpose acquisition company) model. The transaction valued at approximately $125 million. The two parties formed a new listing platform named Lion Group Holding Limited.
